Product Overview

Zantye's was founded in 1928, and is committed to growing organic cashews with synergistic agroforestry practices. Waste is minimized because, unlike most cashew operations, nuts are entirely handpicked and are harvested only once the fruit has naturally fallen from the tree (the optimal ripeness). Grass which grows naturally under the cashew trees is used for cattle grazing, and cattle dung is used to fertilizer them.

Zantye's employs approximately 300 workers, 90% of whom are women. The company actively gives back to the community by funding local eye clinics, colleges, community centers, and medical resources.
